NURRU deliberately encourages pairing up of senior with junior
researchers
POST RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
Post research activities include:
- Supporting proposal development for:
- the implementation of some research recommendations
- new research priorities
- Advocacy and networking for integration of research recommendations
into programmes of stakeholders
- Supporting exchange and field visits of research participants
RESEARCH MONITORING AND EVALUATION
NURRU research monitoring and evaluation is based on the
Quality Indicator Framework. The activities include:
- Reviews of all the proposals and research progress reports
by the Technical Review Committee.
- Periodic field monitoring visits by the Secretariat staff
- Progress report presentations for open discussions by
the researchers and research users either at community or
national levels
- Workshops for validation of reports.
To facilitate appropriate monitoring and evaluation, a NURRU
monitoring and evaluation tool is applied.
